Designing and editing hundreds of assets among a small team of designers can easily get out of hand. Rush tasks or quick edits often get bumped to the front of the line, leaving new designs and standard requests sitting in our queue. So, I developed a ranking system based on how I approached workflow. By applying a numerical weight to the different variables, I was able to turn it into a simple equation allowing each task to have a numerical rank that we could put in order.

I’ve illustrated my thought process in this infographic. The inspiration for this design originated from the team's nickname for our pooled queue in Salesforce. The word "queue" somehow turned into "kiwi." I turned to the show "Flight of the Concords" for inspiration (Kiwi - get it?) and mimicked the hand-drawn artwork used for their cover art.
